This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for sessions booked through SessionApp. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.
2. General Refund Policy
Refunds for sessions are generally not available once a booking has been confirmed and payment has been processed. However, exceptions may apply in specific circumstances as outlined below.
3. Tutor-Initiated Cancellations
If a tutor cancels a session:
- Clients will not receive a refund of the session fee
- However Provider or Tutor can issue a coupon credit at the time of session cancellation
- Platform fees, if applicable, may not be refundable
4. Client-Initiated Cancellations
Clients cannot cancel sessions directly through the platform. If you need to cancel a session:
- Contact your tutor directly to discuss cancellation options
- Refunds are at the sole discretion of the tutor
- Tutors may issue coupon credits for cancelled sessions instead of refunds
- No automatic refunds will be processed for client-initiated cancellations
5. No-Show Policy
If a client fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice:
- No refund will be issued
- The session credit will be forfeited
- Tutors may, at their discretion, offer to reschedule the session
6. Technical Issues
In the event of technical issues preventing session delivery:
- If the issue is on our platform's side, we will work to resolve it and may issue refunds or credits
- If the issue is on the user's side (internet connection, device problems), refunds won't be issued

7. Subscription Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However:
- If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period
- Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances
8. Payment Processing Fees
Please note:
- Payment processing fees charged by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe) are non-refundable
- Platform fees, if applicable, may not be refundable even if the session is cancelled
- Refund amounts will reflect the lesson fee minus any non-refundable fees
9. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider
- You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been processed
10. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider:
- We will investigate the dispute in accordance with our Terms of Service
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent chargebacks
- We encourage you to contact us first at customercare@mylessonpay.com before initiating a chargeback
11. Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. Refund requests for situations not covered in this policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at customercare@mylessonpay.com with details of your situation.
12. Coupon Credits
Instead of refunds, tutors may issue coupon credits:
- Coupon credits can be used for future session bookings
- Coupon credits do not expire unless otherwise specified
- Coupon credits are non-transferable and non-refundable

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
